Under the hood
Every figure comes from Land Registry Price Paid Data and the ONS rent index: what actually sold, and what the ONS measured, never scraped listings or asking prices.
"CITY OF WESTMINSTER" and "Westminster" are the same council, and Allerdale is Cumberland now. Every register spelling maps to one place, so a report means what it says.
Medians, never averages. Prices trimmed at the 1st and 99th percentile per council, counts shown as registered so far, thin months flagged.
